Fit the rafters to the top of the shed structure. Place the rafters every 24″ on center. Use rafter ties to secure the rafters into place tightly.
You’ll immediately notice that our skilled carpenters are very precise and that all of our joints are very tight. The reason is that by having tight joints, you will not have leakage or penetration of the elements into the building, causing it to begin to deteriorate. Secure seven 5/8″ x 60″ boards to the back of the shed. Use a 1″ scrap piece of wood to space them evenly. Secure with finish nails.
