Look through our models and choose what's right for you. Big cabin or small shed, you can be confident in Miller’s Mini Barns.
Hi Brittany, very good and inspiring plan. I built it with some modifications of my own, and about a quarter of it is reclaimed or repurposed wood. Mine’s the same depth but 8′ long and with roof 9′ long as shingles come in 3′ lengths. I went up a foot higher than yours and reversed the slope of the roof as mine is next to garage wall. Also, I used deck screws instead of nails and handled the footings a little differently. I’d send you pics but don’t see how to. Recommendation: tell folks to make their cuts in the tallest 4×4 before assembling the shed; much easier and safer that way. Regards, Wayne

This will leave you with a flush surface for the roofing material to rest on later. Attach the two 63″ 2×4’s to the front and back of your structure.

Usually storage, that’s why many people also call utility sheds storage sheds. People store items like outdoor furniture, gardening supplies, gas cans, etc.
We offer several financing options with approved credit to help you make your purchase.
Although it is cheaper to build your own utility shed, buying the shed is better bang for your buck. This is because the quality of a professionally built shed will be higher than a kit; shed builders buy in bulk, which saves money. Other things to take into consideration are your time and the hassle of trying to build one yourself. By purchasing through a quality-built shed company you can spend your time elsewhere and save yourself a hassle, while getting top-notch quality!
It is certainly safe to sleep in a shed, assuming you don’t have anything with a gas engine parked in the shed, you have heat for the winter, and so forth. Countryside Barns can finish out a shed just like a house, so it’s super safe!
